Brand Writeup
Nothing stands the challenge of time and fashion like leather does. A good quality leather product can last you a lifetime or even protect your beloved belongings, coupled with its natural beauty of shine and comfort of elasticity. All these perfections, at the expense of animals and mother nature.  
 
Fox was created by playing with the word “faux”, meaning an imitation to bring out our use of synthetic leather, which many locals might be unfamiliar and pronounce it as “fox”. Our goal is to replace animal hide and use handcrafting  in our production, thus branded by our logo of a origami fox. 

At Fox, we employ cutting edge technology to produce synthetic materials that encompass traits from their original counterparts. These top-notch materials are then carefully handcrafted by our craftsmen to ensure quality and durability. Combining technology and meticulous handcrafting, we are committed to bring you only the best products. 

Drawing parallel from the survival instincts of a fox to be highly adaptable, our unique handcrafting production allows you to customise our products to cater  to your needs. Be it the colour of the leather or thread, or alterations to sizes,  we make your product uniquely the way you love it. With products ranging from  as small as a key pouch, to bigger daily use items such as bags, there is bound to be one that suits you.
Project Execution
The brand logo was also one of the first few things I started to work on. I sketched out a few variations of a fox’s head inspired by the origami fox to go in line with the handmade concept. Eventually, I settled for the one with only the outlines as it looked most clean and professional, and having only the outlines would be more versatile and applicable as compared to having colour blocks without an outline, which might not be applicable for every background colour or product.
Prototypes
First, several prototypes are created. There are 4 varieties of synthetic leather products made, and these include daily use products such as cardholder, keyholder, laptop sleeve and wallet. All these were 100% handmade and sewn by hand. The synthetic leather used for the cardholder and keyholder are padded, so that the card can fit snugly and the keys can be protected without leaving scratches or dents on other objects. When moving onto the laptop sleeve and wallet, I decided to explore adding an additional layer of coloured leather to make the products more dynamic. 
Packaging
Boxes for the products are made using kraft paper, to be sturdy and gives a natural / recycled feel to go in line with the idea of being ecologically friendly. The logo is done with a rose gold foil to have a subtle hint of elegance as they are still leather products after all. A card is included in every product to give a context of the project and brand, and at the bottom of the box under the product, the logo is done with a rainbow foil as a small surprise and detail for consumers. Every box is secured by a coloured elastic band and different products are marked with different colours. 

The lid of the box is made with 2 layers to make it sturdy and hard enough to not bend, whereas the body of the box is reinforced by making the edges three dimensional, adding strength to it. The lid then covers over and slots into a slit along the edge of the body
Catalog
A mini catalog is done to introduce the brand and showcase the products as well as colour variants. The catalog is handsewn, similar to the products as the selling point of the brand. With a japanese stitch bind, the stitches can be seen as part of the design of the catalog. The cover is also wrapped in a paper with the texture of leather grain, giving context of the brand before consumers even flip open the book. 
Posters
All the posters have a similar format, featuring the main object in the top half and being dominant, with supportive text and three smaller images along the bottom to highlight certain features. One main introductory poster is done to introduce the brand and it's origin, while each product has its own poster and colour scheme, similar to the use of various coloured elastic bands in the packaging.
